Saryazd village

Saryazd village which considered as entrance of Yazd from the south. This village have been last stop for caravans before Yazd.

At this village we have some attractions:  like a Fortress – Caravanserai – Entrance of a Ghanat and ets .

Zein-o-din Caravanserai  

The caravanserai located southern of Yazd two camel days far from Yazd on the way of Kerman.

The caravanserai established during safavid era (400 years ago).  By the order of kerman governor Ganjali khan .

Why is the caravanserai important? Firstly is the solo round caravanserai in the world secondly it had a wind tower .

Thirdly the pattern of this caravanserai is completely symmetric. Most importantly from inside is octagon and from outside round with watching towers at the corners.

Rocky village of Meymand ( UNESCO site )

Meymand is a very ancient village meanwhile is located near Shahr-e Babak city in Kerman Province. Meymand is believed to be a primary human residence area in the Iranian Plateau above all dating back to 12,000 years ago. Many of the residents live in the 350 hand-dug houses amid the rocks.
